Refund policy

At Qipao Cheongsam, your satisfaction is our priority. If your order does not meet your expectations, we offer a clear and simple return process.

Return Period

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to return it if you are not fully satisfied.

Conditions of Return

  • Items must be returned in their original condition: unworn, unused, with original tags and packaging.
  • Please include your receipt or proof of purchase with the return.
  • We do not accept returns for custom-sized or made-to-order dresses (measurements, fabric choices, embroidery, length).
  • Hair accessories cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons.
  • Sale items and gift cards are final sale and cannot be returned.

Return Shipping & Duties

  • If you return an item because of a change of mind or sizing choice, return shipping costs and any duties are the customer's responsibility.
  • Please provide the return tracking number to our support team after shipping the return.
  • We are not responsible for packages lost during return transit if a tracking number was not provided.

How to Request a Return

  • To start a return, email us at contact@qipao-cheongsam.com with:
    • Your order number
    • The item(s) you want to return
    • The reason for the return
    • Your full contact details
  • Once approved, we will send you the return address and detailed instructions.
  • Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.
  • We recommend using a tracked shipping service for all returns.

Order Cancellation

  • If you need to cancel your order, contact us the same day the order is placed.
  • If the order has already been shipped, cancellation is not possible. You may return the item once received following the standard return process.

Refunds

  • After we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved or rejected.
  • If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
  • Bank or card issuer processing times may add extra days before the refund appears on your statement.
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you have not received the funds, email us at contact@qipao-cheongsam.com.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. To get a different size or model, please return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

  • If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, contact us within 30 days of delivery.
  • We will arrange a free return and provide a replacement or full refund where applicable.

Orders Not Received

If your order hasn't arrived within a reasonable time after shipment, contact us and we will open an investigation with the carrier.
